If you had the gift of telepathy, the ability to read other people’s minds, would you use this gift or not? Explain. (Middle East Technical University/93)

If I had the gift of telepathy, I would use it. Who wouldn't to use such a powerful and rare gift? I would use this gift in secret and serenity, no one would get hurt because of my gift and surely i should be the one benefiting most with this gift. A  gift like this could be dangerous to mankind if they knew about it. If my gift were exposed, I would be a lab rat on some deserted island experimented on, y scientists to find out what makes me tick. Serenity and surreptitious of my gift is a must.
But if I did have this gift, I would use my gift to learn my cousins' and blackmail them into giving me stuff. I would be free from chores, my pocket money would be unlimited, and the best thing about it is that I would be getting it all unharmed. Getting good grades is a must too. Presentations and oral quizzes, with a little slip of a thought, I could get the answers I need. Not only that, but I would also give them the answers they want to hear. Yes, it's cheating, how else would you use such a rare and wonderful. College interviews would be a piece of cake. During my free time, I could earn easy money through poker. My life would be great. Since I only benefit myself, I might feel guilty at a certain point. Therefore, I would become a lawyer. Reading my victims mind would help me solve cases in matter of seconds. Nothing in life is fair, why cant I be too?
